The quickly growing fanbase for SyFy’s “Dominion” is eagerly
awaiting the premiere of tonight’s fourth installment in the series.
Why? Well, we’ve met Michael and Gabriel – two brothers who take sibling
rivalry to a whole new level. Thus far, their dynamic has been one with
scenes that are definitely worth rewatching, but tonight big sister
drops in for a visit. From the sneak peak scene that was released this
week, we get a nice look at this wickedly playful new sibling.

Uriel swoops down into Michael’s sanctum, disturbing his late night rest and nearly lopping of the head of our charming Senator Becca Thorn as she lies sleeping beside the scantily clothed archangel. A bit of a tussle ensues between brother and sister, with Michael maintaining his stoically protective nature and Uriel attempting to tease him about his attachment to the human woman. As it turns out, big sister is calling Michael out for a meeting and, since she references the chosen one, we can only assume that she has her own vested interest in the recent turn of events. Uriel’s goal in making an appearance still remains to be seen, but it will be an interesting little family reunion with all three archangels under the same roof.
Meanwhile, we’ve had a few different hints about what will take place in the human sphere. Prison clips have surfaced showing Alex being incarcerated for Desertion of Duty. Prison processing may not be the best place for someone trying to hide conspicuous markings that cover his entire body, but Alex is resourceful and he has some powerful friends. In the clip we see him head-butting one of the guards. Does Alex know something we don’t…like will that action send him straight to some kind of solitary confinement away from the other prisoners? It will be interesting to see if he is finally revealed or if he manages to keep his secret.
In the V-6 households we’ve heard rumblings of some kind of coup. In the previews, Senator Thomas Frost is seen demanding to meet the Chosen One. Recently, we also learned that Vega’s leaders are being held hostage in this episode with threats regarding their food or water supplies. Is it any coincidence then, that the next chapter reveal in Vega’s “Citizen’s Handbook” is about Vega’s infrastructure – including the city’s electricity, water, agriculture, and housing? Maybe Senator Frost is willing to play a little hardball with the resources he’s brought to Vega all in the name of bringing the identity of humanity’s savior to light. We can be assured that David Whele will step in, but how far will he go to curb this particular threat? He does like his power and he seems the type to squelch any obstacles that stand in his way…if his viper’s tongue fails he usually just feeds them to his lions anyway.
